Hello!

I am currently a data scientist practitioner working in the area of generative AI. Previously, I taught as Senior Lecturer in Data Science and Computer Science subjects at the Nottingham Trent and the University of Sheffield for 7 years.

My students were a diverse group of undergraduate and postgraduate students with different academic, cultural and language backgrounds. I adapt my teaching methods to suit a student's individual learning styles and academic levels. Over the course of my teaching career, I successfully supervised more than 50 Master’s students and 5 PhD students on their research projects, many of whom published their research (see my Google Scholar above). This demonstrates my excellent ability to deliver personalised, one-on-one guidance, a key component of successful tutoring. My main subject area relates to computer science and covers topics such as:
