My academic journey has been shaped by applying mathematical, physical, and psychological principles to real-world challenges. From simulating hydrogen-fuelled engines and modelling supersonic jets, to designing propulsion systems for UAVs and building electric vehicle components, I’ve worked hands-on with the very ideas taught at GCSE and A-Level. I bring these experiences into my lessons to make abstract concepts like thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanics more engaging and easier to grasp.

I also bring a passion for flight into my teaching. I’ve piloted gliders, flown light aircraft, and operated drones which are experiences I draw on to bring Physics topics like motion, control systems, and aerodynamics to life in the classroom.

Alongside STEM, I also teach Psychology - a subject I find deeply rewarding for its insight into how we think, learn, and behave. I use my knowledge of cognitive and behavioural psychology to tailor lessons to each student’s learning style and help them build strategies that lead to long-term understanding and academic confidence.

Over the years, I’ve tutored students at both GCSE and A-Level across Physics, Maths, and Psychology, helping many to improve not just their grades, but also their self-belief. Whether it’s preparing for exams, tackling challenging topics, or aiming for a top university, I aim to make lessons a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating progress.
