With several years of tutoring experience, Josiah has successfully guided numerous students through GCSEs, A-Levels, and university admissions processes. He specialises in teaching the CEM and GL 11 plus exams, as well as the Common Entrance Exam. Josiah teaches 11+, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and History up to A-Level, and Computer Science, Geography, English Literature/Language at GCSE level.
He works by getting the student to write out their learning goals and helps them achieve their learning goals by giving the actionable steps to take towards it. For example, he gets students to write out their strengths and weaknesses followed by giving them a personalised learning check list to fill out with red, amber and green. From this, he begins to reteach the content highlighted as red, moving to amber and eventually green. He encourages spaced repetition of content and gives students to practice with homework and tests.
