Hi, I'm Rebecca! I'm a Maths and Science tutor specialising in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at GCSE, A-Level to undergraduate study, with three years of one-to-one online tutoring experience. I graduated top of my cohort with a First-Class Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Biosciences and I'm currently completing an HNC in Mechanical Engineering, where I've been awarded a Distinction and scored 97% in Engineering Mathematics, so problem-solving and precision are second nature to me, not just something I teach.
I love helping students get past memorising facts and actually understand what's going on, that's when learning starts to feel exciting instead of stressful. I tailor every session to the student in front of me: their pace, their confidence, and how they learn best, including students with additional learning needs. One of my proudest moments was helping a GCSE student go from a U in their mock exam to a grade 7.
I take a genuine, long-term interest in each student's progress, not just their next test. My goal is to build real confidence and independent thinking alongside strong exam results, in a relaxed, encouraging space where it's okay to get things wrong on the way to getting them right.
