Hello! My name is Mufid Rahman. I received my Bachelor's degree from Princeton University, and I am currently pursuing a Master's in Philosophy at King's College London. I began tutoring in 2020 and have continued to the present.

For GCSEs, I have tutored in Maths (Edexcel and AQA), Further Maths (Edexcel and AQA), English Language (AQA), English Literature (AQA), History (Edexcel), and Religious Studies (WJEC and OCR). I have also helped many students with A-Level Maths (AQA), helping them acquire the grade necessary for their university offer.

I began tutoring for the 11+ entrance exams, and have seen all eight of them pass. For all students at all levels, I design my lessons based on the student's needs: if he or she has a particular topic they find challenging, I am happy to cover that, but if parents want me to design our timetable so that, by the time of the exam, the student has covered all of the topics, then I am happy to do that too! I also ensure that the student has performed some of the exams from previous years, so that they become accustomed to what they might see on the day.

I thoroughly enjoy being a tutor. I have been a tutor for so long because I find it deeply rewarding to see how, over the course of my lessons, students grow in their skills and knowledge. Education is not something that merely operates within the classroom, but it is vitally important for one's life overall; being able to understand and communicate complex ideas is something that helps everyone, no matter their life's trajectory. I would thus be immensely honoured and consider it a great privilege if you allow me to help your child succeed in their academic pursuits!
