Hi! I'm Jess, a passionate tutor for English Language and Literature with three years of experience.

I began tutoring whilst at university and since then have worked with community projects aiming to make tutoring accessible for everyone, as well as teaching private one to one and group lessons.

I believe in a personalised approach and adapting to the needs of each student I work with. Sometimes this means adjusting to their pace, exam board or finding methods of learning that just click for them. Each student is a unique individual and my teaching style reflects an appreciation for those unique differences and needs.

We can cover various topics at your pace - from Shakespeare to creative writing, essay structure and poetry to persuasive techniques! I prefer to be informed by my students and what they need, so there is always plenty of flexibility to support each individual and help them meet their goals.
